This is a simple walk through. I take no responsibility for anything that may or may not happen.
Realbasic is a programming language that you can produce Linux, Macintosh, and Windows Binaries. Ofcourse to get the Mac and Windows binaries you have to pay for a license. The Linux one is free. To download go to http://realsoftware.cachefly.net/REALbasic2008r2/REALbasicLinux.deb
When you have downloaded the debian file double click on the debian file and install it. That’s as easy as it gets.

REALbasic is a great development for Mac, Windows and Linux. You should definitely check it out if you haven’t already tried it.
http://www.realbasic.com is the link to read about REALbasic
is this a problem on my end, or is the link broken? I can’t use this link and I can’t get it off the website.help???
That is not a link. you just copy and paste it to your address bar and hit enter.
this works with Ubuntu so it should work with kUbuntu right? if so, where does it install to? I can’t find it in my K menu, and there is no desktop shortcut.
RealBasic should be installed in /opt/REALSoftware/REALbasic2008r2/REALbasic2008 %F use that command to start running it from the terminal. Also check to see if the program is under the programming menu.

there is nothing in the opt folder. and there is no programming menu. it’s not in the development menu, and the code /opt/REALSoftware/REALbasic2008r2/REALbasic2008 %F
gives
bash: /opt/REALSoftware/REALbasic2008r2/REALbasic2008: no such file for directory.
