This post on the mailing list is from Yesterday.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>With the release of Ubuntu 8.10 less than 2 1\/2 weeks away, it will shortly<br \/>\nbe time to freeze the archive to limit the number of last-minute changes<br \/>\nentering the release. \u00a0On Thursday, October 16, the archive will be frozen,<br \/>\nafter which uploads to main will require approval from the release team and<br \/>\nshould be done only for changes which are critical for the release.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Since the archive is going to be frozen tomorrow anything that has to be uploaded will have to be approved. Remember that only the critical bug fixes will most likely be allowed.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The list of release-critical bugs is tracked here:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bugs.launchpad.net\/ubuntu\/intrepid\/+bugs?field.milestone=1326\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/bugs.launchpad.net\/ubuntu\/intrepid\/+bugs?field.milestone=1326<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Additional bugs that are considered &#8220;targets of opportunity&#8221; for the release<br \/>\nare found at:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bugs.launchpad.net\/ubuntu\/intrepid\/+bugs\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/bugs.launchpad.net\/ubuntu\/intrepid\/+bugs<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If there are other bugs that you believe are important to fix before the<br \/>\nrelease which are not yet listed on the above pages, please get in touch<br \/>\nwith me or another member of the release team.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Any bugs that can be squashed will be helpful as I have been using Intrepid for a while now and have been having some problems. Half of the bug reports could not be verified as the firefox3-dbgsym will not run on any Firefox above 3.0-b5. The other half of my bug reports is Inkscape.
