All of them are people who are very active in the Mandriva community, and sometimes maintainers of important packages. There has not been any explanation about this decision.<\/span>” This news follows the recent announcement<\/a> about Mandriva concluding an agreement with a venture capital firm to raise \u20ac2 million in order to settle its debts. Apparently, one of the conditions of the deal was cost reduction, which has now been effected in the form of employee layoffs.
