For those people who do not know where Linux Mint has been developed in Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>Mint is a w0nderful distribution to use. Mint is very easy to use and I had no problem using it.Mints signature color is green&#8230; like mint leaves. The 7th release of Mints code name is Gloria. All of Mints releases are named after females which is better then some of the crazy code names I have seen before. (None of which I can remember.)<\/p>\n<p>So far I like the color (&#8220;Mint Green&#8221;), the ease of use (&#8220;really easy to use.&#8221;)<\/p>\n<p>I find the easier it is to use the more people will use it. I have not usually said anything about security but really with Linux you are more secure then with any other OS.<\/p>\n<p>I believe that this version is based off of Ubuntu 9.04 &#8220;Jaunty Jackalope.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Over all I would give it a 5\/5 as it is a very nice distribution and of its ease of use.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan Orser.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Linux Mint 7 is a distribution based off of Ubuntu.
